Hmmm, I have more than I can count on my fingers, but less than I could if I counted on my fingers and my toes.

(And I have the usual number of digits.)

PATTIESPEARL 01-18-2011 11:21 AM

I am afraid to count the number that I have in progress. My Bernina broke just as I finished mending my Son's jeans. I have another sewing machine or two, but this one is the one I use most of the time. I have ordered anither needle clamp for it. Just waiting for it to come.

I keep finding new things I want to try and so I have many, too many projects in process at this time. I am always looking at all the great things you all post about here and I just "have to try it".

I still can't resist an email from all my favorite online fabric sites and then I buy more for my stash!

Keeps me out of trouble?

debbieoh 01-18-2011 12:57 PM

Ashamed to say I have about 6 projects going on right now. NOT counting the completed quilt tops than need quilted. THAN I can't do. Just can't figure out how to quilt them. My quilting puckers and it wrecks the tops.

AnnieH 01-18-2011 12:59 PM

One. I get stressed if something is hanging over me. A fault I know but I can't help it.

Jackie D 01-18-2011 01:30 PM

I to have way too many, all in different stages, Its a bad habit I wish I had not started. I wouldn't mind 2 or 3, but I have so many more than that. Am working now on getting some of them finished, and if I have lost interest or no longer like them, then they are out of here!

Floralfab 01-18-2011 02:28 PM

Right now I have four all at different stages. They eventually all will get done. I also have an afghan in the works for when I'm watching tv.

Dolphyngyrl 01-18-2011 03:32 PM

I usually only do one quilt at a time to keep focused, and i might have 1 or 2 small projects going, like totes, pincushions, potholders.

Marilynsue 01-18-2011 03:34 PM

At least four right now!

meemersmom 01-18-2011 04:37 PM

I have four unfinished tops, four tops that need quilting, three kits that have yet to be opened, and 5 BOM that I bought all the months and never started. One day. The funny thing is, I will start and complete another project, yet the above all sit...waiting...wondering when it's going to be their turn.

PieceandLuv 01-18-2011 04:50 PM

don't have enough fingers and toes.........oops is that to many?????/

annpryor 01-18-2011 05:49 PM

I always have lots of projects going at once.

Annaquilts 01-18-2011 05:52 PM

Too many. I am with the ones who do not know how many are going on at once. Depending on which one needs to be doen that is the one I am doing. Right now my son's Cal King for his wedding next month. Yikes!

Annz 01-18-2011 07:40 PM

I only have 3 right now.

DonnaB 01-18-2011 07:41 PM

I must keep 5-8 projects going at one time, never one to get bored. And, so many to start, so long to finish.

GloBug 01-18-2011 08:05 PM

Lots, finished 2 tops this morning started another. Already have several with my friend who has a Long Arm,plus many in bags either fabric planned or already cut. :-D

Furza Flyin 01-18-2011 08:17 PM

SSSSHHHHHHHHH....Its a secrete! If I dont know then I dont have to worry that they are not completed. Giggle. Do I have to count the ones I am planning in my brain? I have a few, some, ok, a whole bunch. It really depends on my day and how I am feeling. I have been winning the breast cancer war but some days I dont have the strenght to lift a big quilt or rotary cut and I just do some hand work. It also depends on if I will be home, at the Dr's, or at an all day school event in the bleachers.

Don't blame you she is teaching me how to use it. I've done one so far.

grammysharon 01-18-2011 10:14 PM

Two quilts and several paper pieced blocks as well as BOM and a mystery quilt.

missionslady 01-18-2011 10:31 PM

When I first began quilting I took a class, and our instructor told us a quilter should always have 3 quilts going at once: one she is piecing, one in the frame, and another on her mind. I love it!

Too many plus knitting, crocheting, counted cross stitch, and genealogy projects. I love to read too.

biscuitqueen 01-31-2011 06:24 PM
