I'm new too, and I think I have put on hold all the books in our county library. They also have a couple magazine subscriptions that I check out every month. Maybe you can try that too. It's fun to page through them and not have to pay anything!

Everytime a new magazine comes out, I have to thumb through it. If something catches my eye, well, it comes home with me. I have tons of book, mags and patterns. Just never get enough. Like I'm really going to get all these patterns done in my life time.

None I think. Just access to the internet. I love my books though.

I don't have many quilting books but have just subscribed to a digital quilting magazine online, 6 copies per year and access to 2yrs worth of archive magazines, all for $15.97 the quality and detail is amazing. Of course it means I now spend even more time browsing the computer. That's ok though - right? heh heh.

I recently was in JoAnn's that was closing in Fort Worth, TX and bought an upright spinning quilt/magazine rack. I was thrilled when i discovered the price was only $10.
So now I have room to display all my quilting books and magazines and room for more!!!! Now all I need is a bigger sewing room!
