I do runners on my sewing machine and then I rent time on a long arm at the LQS for all of my quilts.

I do both depending on the size, I use my viking quilt designer edition machine to quilt small wallhangins. then I have a handiquilter that I quilt larger items on. I am though looking for a nice table for my handiquilter that is affordable.

I haven't quilted anything yet except my avatar and I am doing that one by hand. Because I am a mechanic thought I have to wait until the oils in my hands are gone before I can touch the quilt.. I haven't attempted any of my other quilts on machine yet, but I plan to

I quilt all my quilts. Most of them are hand quilted. I do SID and a little FMQ on the rest.

I will quilt up to a full size quilt by myself...I have made 3 larger quilts that I have paid someone to quilt...but it is really expensive and out of my budget now...so if I ever make another quilt so large, I will have to figure out a way to quilt it myself. Not to say that it isn't worth it, as it is, and all 3 were beautifully quilted...one was a wedding gift...but, at this time in my life, I just can't afford to pay someone $200 to quilt one for me.

Keep practicing and have fun. You can do it.! |
I quilt all of my quilts by hand. I don't get nearly as many made as most of you on here, but I enjoy handquilting.

I quilt on my Janome have not tried anything bigger then a full size, so that will be a new challenge in 2011

I am just learning to machine quilt. So far, I have SID runners and placemats. Anything larger is sent out to be longarmed!

I hand quilt mine but it takes a while to get them done!
