When you run out of uses, they do appear to be recyclable. In addition, you could see if some art teachers want them for projects.

If you were to cut them off they would be good for seedlings too!

maybe you could put pre-wound bobbins in them?

I don't know, I'd just recycle them.

I would sort sharpened color pencils in them by color for my classroom. I love them. Hmmm, maybe it's time to pick up eight or so!

Buttons, spools of thread sorted by color, safety pins, quilting pins, packets of hand sewing needles, a sewing kit for travel, packets of bias tape or rick rack, nails, screws, picture hanging hooks, rolls of elastic or velcro, crayons for the grandkids, misc craft pieces, various embellishments, matches for emergencies, piggy bank, small scrapbooking pieces, and anything small enough to fit.

I use to keep an old purse in the backseat of my car. I put all kinds of things in it... old keys, hanky, and a container like this that I had put a penny or two in, or rice. Then I superglued the lid shut.

My grandsons had Nana's purse! And all the goodies inside to play with while she drove. I used a number of containers to make "rattles".

We just used them to make "Bits and Pieces" for our quilt show. Put in small pieces of fabric, some had thread or buttons. Sold them for like $2 to $3. Sold them all and had fun and still cleaned up leftovers.

straight pins, safety pins, small traveling snack boxes, buttons, small servings of nuts, candy, raisins, etc. There is always another use for containers.

You can use one next to your sewing machine for thread catcher and another for tools, rulers, markers, etc.

I freeze single portion leftovers in these containers ... and berries for pancakes

I must have a zillion of them. We use a verity. Some of them are clear and my husband uses them in the garage to sort nuts, bolts and nails etc
