I have one. It was a spare bedroom that I turned into my sewing room.

I have two rooms. My main studio only a 12 by 12 room has most everything in it. The second room holds i bookcase of quilt books and the closet is full of batting bolts and 5 tubs of fat quarters. I plain on the next year or so to get the tubs of fat quarters arranged on shelves in that closet. I love my spaces. When we build our new home I will have a much larger room as I will be teaching classes in my studio.

I am fortunate enough to have my own sewing space. Although it is a smaller room, it is all mine and I can sit in there and look at my stash all neatly organized on my cubby sized shelving. I love it.

My darling husband talked me into converting one of our bedrooms into a sewing room. Since it's just the two of us now and a four bedroom house, it works out perfectly. I love being able to leave a project out and not have to gather everything up. I have a portable design wall but we're talking about putting one up on one of the walls.

So neat and tidy!!! I wish mine was that managed!

LOL Corky.. .it use to NOT be this way. a few months ago, I spent about a week-10 days reorganizing and refolding all my fabric to fit better and neatly on the shelves. It was a good experience to be able to better see what I had. So many pieces had disappeared under others when they were all stacked wide. I love the ease of access now that I can grab from the thinner double stacks in each cubby.

You are really organized. Gret job!

I do, and I love it! It is my own little sanctuary! :)
