I was so delighted to purchase one craft table with leaves that fold down & a Singer machine. They just fit in a corner of the study. After retirement & joining a quilting group I had to have a Janome 6600P, an arrow sewing table. That is when I set up in 1 of the 2 guests rooms. Seldom used those rooms. Bed is my design wall. Dresser is cutting table. Dresser drawers and chest drawers are full of fabrics/notions. Promised bed will be removed when daughter builds her new home. She will get the bed. Closet has 1 shelf & rod for clothes. It needs shelves. Hubby still prefers room is tidy. Well, I tidy it up when overnight guests are expected.

I have one of the bedrooms.

I feel lucky to have one. We have a 3 bedroom house, technically it's 2 with a family room that is separate, but my husband works from home so one room is his office. The family room has patio doors and lots of light. The other bedroom is small and was once my son's room. When he moved out in June my husband agreed to move his office to the smaller room and I now have a nice sewing room with lots of natural light and 3/4 wall closet. But I also have the walk-in closet in our bedroom that is totally mine and all of my fabric lives there with quilts I have made and projects that need to be completed one day.

I do. My DH sold his hot tub and gave me the room as my sewing studio. Room has windows overlooking the lake all across one side of the room. DH painted my room "Pepto-Bismal" pink just for me. I love my room and spend as much time as possible in there.

I shamelessly admit I do... I used to share "my room" with the kids tv/video games but once they got to high school, got jobs, it became "momma's room"!

I have all 3 machines set up, 2 full time ironing boards ready to go, some storage, and a radio for company. Besides the cats, no body bothers me up there, AT ALL! I call it my...sanctuary and you can find me there most Sunday afternoons, as it is right next to my laundry room. gotta wash clothes??? Can sew a few seams...

Yes I do. My DH built a shed just for my quilting and embroidery. I out grew my extra bedroom according to him so he did something about it...lol. He was tired of seeing all my stuff. I am soooo glad!

I do, but it has been a stranger lately.

I do. My kids have all grown up and I took over one of the bedrooms.

My sewing room is 11x11...and is full just about every square inch...but I love it...and do have lots of sewing fabrics stored in other parts of the house. Just wish I had more time to spend in it!

I do, I have the basement, its huge and ALL mine. I close the door and get lost or emersed in what I,m doing I have a TV and a stereo. I don't see people for hours and that is fine by me, everything is set-up the way I like it and if anyone touches my stuff, they better call a lawyer.
