My girlfriend and I made skirts and shorts when we were about 9 on my mom's treadle. No idea what happened to it.
I learned to sew on the Singer treadle my mother had. Sure miss it. Have been looking for a couple years now for one. But I would love to have the one I learned on. Can't track it anywhere. Mom is not doing well after a stroke and does not speak, so have not been able to get any information from her as to what happened to it after we all left home.

I made my first dress at age 12 with Granny's help on her treadle. I sure wish I had her treadle!
I did. A singer treadle. We don't know what happened to it though. It rather disappeared from our house one day.

I learned to sew on a treadle when I was 9 years old, 47 years ago. I remember making doll cloths. I still have it and just got it in running condition again.
I didn't technically "learn" to sew on a treadle, but as an adult my treadle machine kindled a love of sewing. I love pretty much any sewing machine, but treadles are my favorite.
I have never sewn on a treadle machine, buy would love to own one in the future. It is on my to buy list
I learned to sew my my grandma's treadle machine which had also been her mother's, my great-grandmother and I now own the machine. I use it once in a while and have taken great care of it. It has the middle drawer and two drawers on each side. It is a most prized possession of mine. It is dated 1881.
