I posted a couple tutorials in 2011 on easy mitered borders with stripes: Easy Mitered corners-even with stripes

If I havemore than one border, I sew them together and miter the corners. It is easy and accurate, and keeps me from having to handle the whole quilt to get the borders on multiple times. I figured this outinitially because I wanted stripes to match.

There is a tutorial by Rob Ippell called "Mitered Corners" it is fool proof and gives you perfect Mitered corners everytime even on striped fabric.

I always use it for my borders.
