I kind of go back and forth on how much piecing I want to do. It just depends......But I am itching for another intricately pieced quilts (like the ones in the Bella Bella book or a Judy Niemeyer pattern)..... Just have to find the one that is calling my name!

Love your pattern & colors, & it was from scraps.Even better yet!
Going to be a very pretty quilt. |
I really like this one so far. I can understand the time consuming. The last time I did pp'ing I never finished it due to the time it took. I cannot wait till you post your finished product, it is going to be beautiful!!

I appreciate the process so I don't mind when it takes a while.

I really like your spider web scrappy look...
|
Keep going! I'd like to see the finished product. Looks like a winner to me.

What you’ve done so far is BEAUTIFUL! Love the colors and the black background. I’m a sloooow quilter. But someday I'll make some quicker quilts :-P
|
Love it, it is going to be beautiful!!
I cut one out Sat, started piecing it Sat night, pressed it Sun, put the 9 patchs together after work and after class sewed it all together. Quick and easy, not very large; like a large baby quilt or small lap quilt. Border is not on, it is hanging in the Crafters Studio I work in as a sample for a learn to quilt class I will be teaching. Rail fence, and 9 patch blocks, jelly roll and accuquilt cutter in the studio. |
looks great.some designs take more time but usually are worth the effort

just so you are aware, scraps do multiply. the more you try to use them up, the more there are. i do speak from experience. be aware.
