Often enough that I consider my seam ripper my best friend.

Everyone makes mistakes sometimes. The only way to avoid mistakes is not to do anything. I have a friend who is scared to try anything new, for fear she will make a mistake. Whenever she would make a mistake as a child, she was severely scolded,so now she is afraid to try. don't worry about mistakes.

I think that sums my answer up nicely.

I have always said this. Just think of how many quilts we would have if we could just get it right once in a while.

I figure that mistakes (design alterations, artistic decisions, etc, etc, etc) are all part of quilting, so I try to get my mistakes done early in the day. That way the rest of the day is clear sailing..............:D

Mistakes? what are they? yep at least ten times in a day and just not quilting
