Don't be too hard on yourself..wew have all done "less than smart" things. That's how we learn. I am sure it will be ok.

Glad it was fixable!!
|
I often make that type of mistake when I'm tired and don't realize I am.
I keep my fingers crossed that my stupid mistake will be a small one that wakes me up enough to stop working. |
If you have already found a fix, the project is "saved"! Excellent!
|
You are not stupid, just a lesson from the school of hard knocks and the tuition can be rather high. It's okay and sounds like you handled the situation quite well!
|
Oh My I don't call that stupid, I call that life, especially mine. LOL
|
Oh I have done that once or twice!! What is real bad is when you baste everything start quilting and then realize you have a big wrinkle in the middle of the quilt and that is why you are short on fabric. And I was stippling the entire thing so you can imagine how fun it was fixing that one.

Not Stupid by a long shot..... Just learned by error !! ;)
Have a short/mid arm on a frame, prewound a bolt of backing, sounds good right. Weeellll didn't pre mark estimated yardage before loading the backing fabric and yep 3/4 th thru a Quilt ran out of backing, what a mess, ended up unwinding enough to put regular machine on a rolling cart and adding some more backing fab. Yep.... now it gets marked, before loading.... Lesson learned!! :) |
we learn from our mistakes

What's a quilting day without a "DUH" in it? At least one a day for me.
