I think Baptist Fan also.

Possibly an all over meander, or how about quilting a fancy or curving stitch across the squares Love it. You're right, it has to be finished.

I agree with Baptist Fan. Kinda gives it an old fashioned vibe. Please don't do meander/stippling.

I love it! The colors are wonderful together. I agree, an all over meander would probably look nice on it.

I always find Baptist fans a pleasing motif.

An all over pattern in a neutral color thread such as a gray works well without overshadowing the design.

I would maybe do a meander or even a cross hatch would be nice. Very pretty quilt.

Simple squares cry out for being tied, which I hate, but I think if I had fancy stitches on my machine I might try stitching an asterisk type star at every four block intersection.

Sorry I haven't replied in a while, I get distracted so easily! I think I have chosen what I will do,though between now and then I will probably change my mind about 70 times.

I have just found out we have a quilting shop that's just opened in the next village and they rent out long arms! Going to have to give that a go for something :)
