I think you have looked at it too long. It is beautiful. So bright and pretty. Finish it for them. They'll love it. Trust me!

I love your quilt!
If you have any of the original fabric left, could you post a pic of it?
Thanks.

I don't do my own quilting but I have to say that this is an outstanding quilt!

As promised, here is a picture of the fabric. I included the selvage. It is about a 10-year-old fabric, so I wish you luck if you're trying to find it.

Thanks again, everyone. You have given me new confidence that this will be a good quilt to give my niece and her family, plus you've helped me develop quilting ideas.

I have no idea about how to quilt it. Just wanted to say it's beautiful!

Absolutely no idea how to quilt it, but it's beautiful!

O would have to do quilting to emphasis the kaliedoscope shapes even if it was only SITD . Have you thought about putting a piece of extra batting behind the kaliedoscope wheels as they are beautiful.

I do like your idea of writing the names on the borders. Other than that, my vote would be for SID. Beautiful job and the new parents and baby will love the quilt.
