Yes, my DH has a hobby too. We have 14 machines from the 70's that he has restored.

BTW, what are the navy/purple thingies around the outside of the mounted quilt? Are they tension clips?

Ann S., the purple thingies are bicycle type clips made from plastic that I put around the edge of the table to keep the quilt top, backing, and batting tight. I also use just regular bicycle clips and they also work well.

johans, I have about 30 of the stars done by outlining on the inside of the stars. I plan on doing a curvy design in the sashing and maybe feathers in the setting triangles. Someone mentioned straight lines from the sides of the setting triangles. Still thinking about the setting triangles. Have a little time for that. Where in the UP are you?

Your quilt is really pretty!

I agree with johans.....your beautiful quilt needs more than stippling!!! But, that said, do what you do best and are comfortable doing.....a bad quilting jog will not enhance it at all. Good luck!

Not sure on the quilting but I LOVE the pinball machines in the back ground! :)

Since a couple have commented on the pinball machines, I thought I would post a couple pictures of my DH's Man Cave. He lets me "invade" it for pinning my quilts. LOL
