Gigi asked me a question earlier about the gun rack quilt holder. Her concern was that the gun oil or just from the barrell might cause a rust spot.
My husband thought of the same thing after the quilts had been hanging for about a week. He came up with the idea to cut a garden hose sized to fit, then length wise. So it is not actually touching the barrell of the gun. |
You certainly are creative. I hate to put nails in the wall, so my quilts are on the sofa, and beds.

not like yours!!

I have quilts over chairs, on the walls and beds, two quilt rakes, and change with the seasons. My daughter has an old
ladder that shows off quilts real well. |
Love how that looks like teepee by the Buffalo, let's see in my great or family room quilt over fireplace change with seasons, on rocking chair, some in little wooden old fashioned tool box hanging off bookcase right now is a bunny wall hanging, a wooden holder has a few and then an old fashioned wagon has more, one on door to upstairs, one on wall by front door, always on kitchen table and on piano, of course beds.

I really like the ladder idea. My mother in law has an antique ladder I have been trying to get my hands on for years.
|
On my table, on the back of the sofa, quilt racks here and there. Let's see, in the closet, in the car,a ladder full and one on my lap. I really got to get more creative!
