I use them for decorate as well as use, so I have them in every room of the house except the bathrooms. I have them on the wall, drapped over an antique childs school chair. Over an antique dry sink. Drapper over my ugle walker (sure makes that look nice), end of the bed, on the couch, each dog kennel has one covering it. and just about done with a daybed cover. So I have them every where. Not all mine are big, I have small ones, and miniatures as well.

Pam
Love your quilt hangers, my kind of decorating.

Mine are displayed on the sofa with a kid wrapped inside.

Love your racks.

The only thing that doesn't have a quilt on it is the toilet seat. Mine are everywhere, along with some cherished art pieces made by friends and family. I had a neighbor come over one day and she said my home was like walking into an art gallery.

I think your ideas are very creative ways of displaying them !
I have one quilt rack in the master bedroom, one wall hanging rack in the bounus room , one wall hanging rack in my studio, also three on beds I try and change them out for each of the season's .
I have seen were you can attack curtain rods to the wall for hangers haven't done that yet , but would like to try that.

My favorite, quick, simple quilt hanging technique... some of you will cringe no doubt... I staple them to the wall. There's no distortion from the weight of the quilt as long as you don't pull or stretch it while stapling. It's quick to remove and doesn't leave big holes in the wall or your quilts. I staple all the way around on large ones - close to the binding, as much as needed to hold the weight evenly.

since my quilts are between 95 x 95 and 100 x 100, i just have them hanging on finished boards through sleeves. when i furnished the room they hang in, i deliberately left 2 walls open for that purpose. the quilts fill the spots they hang in. i switch out between the few i keep and all the others have been given as gifts.
