Neighbor gave me a hint about how to win the lottery......seems first you have to find a place that sells tickets and then you have to buy one and it is only good for one time....... thinking .........putting the money aside each month and doing lots of research and testing is a really good idea. |
I love my HQ Fusion, I can use any thread I put on it .I had the first HQ that came out . Then I got a A-1 had it for
4 years , went back to HQ.I think you will love it. :) |
I love love love mine. I bought from a "local" dealer. The machine was shipped to them they checked it over, delivered it and set up in my home. Spent the morning with me giving me hints & instructions. They will be my go to dealer when it needs servicing. I paid $4195 for my Sweet 16 but that was a couple years ago.

here is a hq sweet 16 video to watch. i am also thinking about one also looking at the tin lizzie 18 sit down. planning and saving for this large purchase sounds like a good idea instead of acquiring a 3 yr debt but it's all how one looks at it.
there are several threads on this board about this machine and comments from those who have one. do your research while you're waiting.:) |
What an idea - hadn't thought about polka-dot material to practice meandering. Some of the most interesting (and sometimes simple) things spring up on this board.

I saw one at the quilt show in Somers, NY a few weeks ago, was afraid that if I tried it, I was going to take one home, and I SO can't afford it right now. As soon as my car is paid off (just 4 months from now, woohoo!), I'm going to put that same amount into savings each month, then I'll start watching for a great bargain, at the QS the machine and table were 25% off - I really, really wanted one before I even saw it in motion - now I know I'll get one when the time is right and I have the money - in the meantime I'll do my homework so I'll be ready to jump on it when it happens. It is a sweet setup and looks like too much fun!

Jeez, this machine looks awesome... Thanks a lot, now I want one! I am a new quilter, I am currently quilting my very first quilt. I bought my mom a new Husqvarna Sapphire 875 Quilt for her 60th birthday, and then I had to buy myself one too. It is super nice, I love all the stitches it has, but it is kinda hard to get all the quilt in there to quilt it, and my quilt I am working on is just a full size. And I'm a beginner too so I am sure I will learn how to do it better. But... that sweet 16 looks like it would be so awesome!!

I have an HQ 16, and I love it! Definitely worth the $$$. Have not had any issues with the machine-just my learning curve! ;)
