My MIL is crazy about hummingbirds. I wanted to make her something with hummingbird fabric. I finally found a neat batik at http://equilter.com/cgi-bin/webc.cgi...32110320629.ca
There are several colors and some other contemporary hummingbird prints. Good luck!

I think I have some batik. Not much. Check out your batik shops. I'll take a look. While you are planning the quilt you can make her a little something. My Mom loved hummingbirds too. There is lots of iris fabric if you don't want to piece the blocks. Dotty
