Thoughts and good wishes are with those on the East Coast for the next hours until we know the path of this huge threatening hurricane. Those on the Outer Banks.....are you evacuating, taking sewing supplies with you?
Be safe everyone!! Jan in VA (hopefully safe on high ground near the mountains) :| |
Stay safe and dry everyone!!!
Too bad you can't send a little of that rain to California! |
I hope everyone will be safe, take care!

That is one big storm! Everyone stay safe. So far it looks like it's just going to skirt the US. But don't get too confident. Water, canned goods, medicines, etc. You just never know. I doubt you'll need anything, but you'll feel better being prepared. Hurricane season lasts until November 1, so we have a way to go.

Our son just called about an hour ago and he and dil have battoned down the hatches at their home on Manteo and have headed back inland to their home near Greenville. I am glad that he got there and got things taken care of and some for those near them and is back where it will be safer.

Thanks for posting this Jan. Yes we wish everyone well.

Be safe and we'll pray

Check out Flylady's suggestions. They are very sensible and we should print them out and follow them.
