The four patch corners look like a really good idea, but I would make them with with blue print, NOT the green. Having the green in those 4-patches draws the eye away from the entire quilt to rest on them.
I also like the idea of a square in a square, but keep it in the border colors already established. No green. |
if you need it softer, perhaps a drunkard's path block would work.

Did you happen to notice the left border at the top has a section that is upside down? On purpose? There are two small squares close together and it looks as if it was flipped when you sewed it on. Lovely quilt (and if it is too late to change it, then it was creative!).

Perfect I love the 4-patch corners works great with the border and brings the green out at the same time moving the eye in.

I think a 4-patch block would be the perfect solution, and would go great with that border.
