I think you would have a beautiful DWR using those fabrics. Pinks and blues generally work well together, especially when you buy a collection of fabric, which will all go together. The DWR is on my Roundtoit List, and I hope to make one in the near future.

Those fabrics are lovely and will make a beautiful DWR quilt. What fun to be at this stage of a quilt and be able to buy such wonderful fabrics!!!

I had one just like that on my bed for 25 years! I think the blues and pinks work well if you have a range of shades. Among my blues were some navy, indigo and even teal-ish blue in the prints. Among the pinks were a few magenta and burgundy. The solid four patches were medium pink and blue. I love the cheddar in Bonnie Hunter's quilt shown above; it makes the pink and blue more suitable for an adult. She is a master at color mixing in scrappy quilts.
