Does anyone know about how many large quilts you can do with one large can?

If you buy more than $50 from Connecting Threads they have free shipping.
Fabric prices are great

I am in the US, so to charge $18 for less than 1# - 5 to 11 days for delivery is ridiculous.
Any suggestions?

The Post Office does not accept aeresol cans for shipment. Most mail is moved via air and the pressurized can pose a hazard. So this spray has to go via ground transport. That could account for the excessive shipping charges -- perhaps a special carton and ground transport could be more costly because of handling at more transfer points.

Lowes has their own brand. I used it to baste batting to my design wall. About $5 a can.
