I have been getting up and hour earlier each morning to check out this site and read everything. Even my crossword puzzles have to wait. Is there a cure for this???

Murphy 01-01-2011 05:40 AM

No, thank goodness

scrapykate 01-01-2011 05:47 AM

I leave when my coffee cup is empty or I'd be here all day.

There is no 12 step program cure for this though..so accept where you are and go on.

No cure

Jim 01-01-2011 11:20 AM

Let's cure something else, I don't mine being bitten by the quilting bug

Cherylsea 01-01-2011 11:43 AM

It only gets worse. I started by getting links from a friend. Each time she sent a link I would look around a bit longer. Today I registered and I have been on 3-4 hours off and on. Not getting much else done.

MadQuilter 01-01-2011 12:01 PM

I consider it therapy. Cheaper than seing a shrink - that's for sure. Well, come to think of it, it does cost more in fabric and patterns that I suddenly just HAVE TO HAVE. SO let me rephrase: It may not be cheaper than a shrink, but it is waaaaaay more fun and more colorful. lol

natalieg 01-01-2011 12:05 PM

The only thing that has more pull (occasionally) is more stitching!

Lois-nounoe 01-01-2011 05:32 PM

My server sometimes refuses this site!!! No reason for it at all!!! Talk about WITHDRAW !!!! But if I don't recieve the newsletter when I think it should be here I just go to the web site and THERE IT IS!! LOL

np3 01-01-2011 05:41 PM

wolph33 01-01-2011 05:46 PM

shequilts 01-01-2011 06:05 PM

'Sorry to say, it's an incurable disease. The good part is that no one wants a cure!

tmg 01-01-2011 06:06 PM

Do you really want one. I lay in my bed at four in the morning reading everything I can before getting up at five

quilt3311 01-02-2011 04:18 AM

No cure, just go with the flow and enjoy it.

jad1044 01-02-2011 05:14 AM

I begin my day after breakfast on this site- and when the coffee cup is dry - I get up to do other things, but I've been known to use the biggest cup I own - just to stay on here longer!!! So, I feel I should change my hours of looking at this to after we've eaten in the evenings... then I would get more done during the daytime... But, it is like a magnetic draw that pulls me to this site - it is just wonderful and would be lost without it!

sewing4kix 01-02-2011 05:24 AM

Nope! Wonderful addiction. My hubby is even an enabler...there is no cure :)

Connie Merritt 01-02-2011 05:29 AM

It just gets worse. The more you see/read the more you want. But there are advantages to this addiction; no calories, no sugar, no fats, only eye and finger exercises (all done sitting), refreshments handy, no need to put on training clothes or makeup, lessons are free, laughter is free, nothing but positive stuff from this addicts opinion. I am staying addicted.

Mar_ie 01-02-2011 05:34 AM

I was on here first thing on New Years Day and my birthday. It's a really great club here and I love the things you all say, the problems and triumphs and the great pictures. It really makes me happy and it's free, what more could you ask for ?

alimaui 01-02-2011 05:41 AM

Actually, there is a cure! It is often found in the picture section, but also regularly found in the tutorial section. Its that kick to go sew something, lol!

stchenfool 01-02-2011 05:49 AM

Love this site. So much valuable information - you never know what each day will bring! I read this along with the morning newspaper!
