Did you have one or use one that jammed? My dressmaker friend uses her two practically non stop and I was there and neither one of them jammed at all. She uses only Iris super fine pins so the pins may make a difference. It seems to be more useful for sewers then quilters.

I'm sure it works but I'd rather buy fabric.

(the pintastic, a pin dispenser)

This would be something I could use.. (makes note on Christmas list)... I am always poking my fingers when trying to grab a pin. I don't use the pin cushion I made...it sucks.

Do you have favorite gadgets you like to use?

Something else to eat batteries. I prefer my magnetic pin cushion, or even a used margarine tub. I guess my favorite gadget is a floss threader. It is great for weaving in thread ends.

I seen it at Hancocks also, it is huge and looks kinda flimsey. Not for me.

I use the large pins with the flat flower heads and just keep them in a metal box. If I use smaller pins I keep them in the pin cushion that's attached to my scrap bag. I love gadgets but this one doesn't interest me. I do have one of the acrylic knobs that acts as a screwdriver to get the screws out to clean my machine. Love that.

I would say that the fact that it was $59.99 and is now $29.99 probably means it hasn't been the big seller that they had hoped. I don't think I would buy it.

If it really worked, I MIGHT be a sucker and buy it....the thing that got me looking at the demo was that the pins were all the same size. I have so many different kinds of pins with different size heads.....glass, plastic and metal and flat. I'd probably have to spend several days sorting out my pins before I was able to use it.
I can see where it might be useful for a dressmaker pinning a hem while the costomer stood on a platform: the dressmaker wouldn't have to look down to grab the pin.
Even though I LOVE gadgets, I will let this one pass!

Nah not my cup of tea either,a pin cushion is easier.
Thanx for sharing anyway...hope you get your pin gadget.

Ilove gadgets to, bute this is to expensive. I made myself a ringpincushion and everyone who saw it find it a useable "gadget". I will place the pattern If you like?!Maybe it's best to make a tutorial first ?
