You do need a new pincushion!!
|
I am just happy using my pincushions. Works good for me.
|
its expensive and noisy, not to mention huge and takes up lots of room. I use the pin magnets and I'm very happy with them.

I use a magnetic paper clip despencer (sp).

If I put it on my Christmas list, one of my dear DIL will find it for much less by using a Joann's coupon and a sale on-line or discounted somewhere. Then my son will give it to me with the story of how his wife found it and payed much less for it!! DIL is a great shopper. If I had it, I would use it but I won't buy it. I have the right pins for it because all my kids love to give me pins and sewing tools for Xmas and birthdays--pins are easy for them to buy and give.

Love it, but too expensive even on sale.

and just now, while browsing around, I happened to find this... http://store.junetailor.com/store/p-...dispenser.aspx (the pintastic, a pin dispenser) This would be something I could use.. (makes note on Christmas list)... I am always poking my fingers when trying to grab a pin. I don't use the pin cushion I made...it sucks. Do you have favorite gadgets you like to use? OzarksGma |

Do you have favorite gadgets you like to use? good for your needles. there are so many sites to make them. and you will love it more than that expensive thing. even get hooked on making pincushions. old jello molds make good containers. put your sand into a muslin pillow & then into the container. hot glue it down. |
I've seen those on a site before and I think they're a joke.
A pin cushion is so much cheaper......I use one of those magnet type. You don't have to stick it in a cushion, just toss the pin a little in the direction of the magnet and there it is. They are wonderful if you spill pins, real easy to pick up. I use a pin cushion for needles and little odd stick pins but not the ones I use daily. |
I would put up with finger sticks before I would pay even the sale price for this.
