Ok, but let's not give up checking the QB.

I was getting that way so decided to make smaller items like totes, purses ,table runners placemats etc, I have a couple bigger quilts going but there set aside right now

I gave in today....have been watching the back garden turn into a jungle over the past few months after joining this board and sewing more than ever....but today saw me clean decking, scrub the patio, jet wash everything that stayed still long enough, weed the garden and plant the tubs. Was up at 8am and finished at 10pm.
Thank goodness it is a relatively small garden......A WHOLE DAY WITHOUT SWITCHING ON MY MACHINE....scary...can't wait for tomorrow...July dolls quilt swop to start piecing...no more gardening for me till the Autumn !

Work definitely tends to put "a hitch in my get-along." Right now I am still "organizing" but have to stop every so often to stitch a few blocks. Helps me keep the goal in mind of stitching without all the mess blocking the view.

I could make more quilts if I didn't work ... Work definitely gets in the way !! It would also help if I didn't spend time on the web ! LOL :)

Sister from another mother!

Trying to raise boys that see what needs to be done and to do it! They aren't quite old enough to do their own laundry but lunch - the Good Lord gave you arms, legs and a brain. Figure out what you want and make it. Then CLEAN UP after yourself. My goal is to someday have two DILs that say "Thanks for raising someone who will wipe down the counter after he's done in the kitchen!".
