Some days there just isn't enough time.

Creative stuff always comes first here! Much to my hubby's disdain.

If I didn't have to work full time. I'm a morning person and by the time I get home from work I am just about dead! I have a hard time getting anything done in the evenings. And very often just don't feel like sewing. It's very frustrating, I have so much I want and need to get done in the evenings but just don't have the engery. So, everything is put on hold for the weekends that still leaves me with little time for quilting. UUUGGGHHH!

If I didn't have a dh who thinks that my charity quilts are "production sewing". He told me that last fall and I haven't gotten my quilting mojo in gear since. Last time I ask him "what do you think of this?" Once he gave me his opinoin, I told him "you can go back upstairs now. And please feel free not to come down anytime soon"

Oh and work too. and cleaning and.....getting off the studid computer.

After all of the above reasons, I would get more done IF, WHEN QUILTING:
I stopped stopping to admire my work and daydreaming about how the recipient will treasure it...
I stopped daydreaming which causes me to have to rip out what I just sewed or cut wrong..
I stopped changing my mind about what I want to do after I got the pattern and bought the fabric or marked the quilt top...
I stop stopping to worry that the colors will look awful or that it isn't good enough work or the quilting is stupid...

Not to mention my one most irritating part of all sewing: If I didn't have to keep changing the bobbin - aren't there machines with endless bobbins?
LOL LOL LOL

When I was working on my charity quilts my family would just walk around the mess but my DD's boyfriend would come over and pick up the livingroom for me. He is such a sweety!!

Can you send him my way? BrendaK
