Trivia...Janome is japanese for "eye of the snake" because supposedly the bobbin looks like a snake eye. I am so green with envy. COngrats on you new baby.

In case you don't already know, there is a Janome group 6500/6600 but it should also be including the 7000. You might want to look into it, as they have all kinds of useful information specific to the Janome. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Janome6500 Sarah in CA
