OK, I confess. We got a square-up ruler in a "starter" basket that we purchased early in our quilting adventure. I understood the concept, but thought it was strange that the ruler wasn't clear; obviously it's going to be hard to use. I packed it away in a garage sale box and purchased a Creative Grids square up ruler when we needed one. Now I'll have to dig the brown ruler out of the garage sale stuff and peel the paper off. And Patrice is right!

Yep been there done that. I'd had my ruler about 3 years when I dropped it rushing stuff to the car after a workshop in the pouring rain. It got soaked and when I came to dry it the paper just slid off!! I felt a right numpty.

Thanks for sharing this story--we have all done stupid things as well. But now you have a "new" usable ruler!!

Well ladies, don't feel TOO bad. I've had a sewing machne for over 20 years and until last month when I hurt my right foot, I did not realize that I can unplug the foot pedal and us a button instead to start and stop the sewing. How dense do you have to be??? I Cannot Believe It.
