I am terrible at machine binding but love love love hand binding....that is my favorite part of quilting.

I am going to bookmark this thread for later viewing of all these suggested links. I hand sew the binding on almost all my quilts, but I've been helping a friend get her Christmas quilts done and I'm machine binding. I've discovered ironing the binding helps a lot after the binding is attached. It prevents so much struggling with folding it over.
