I have been looking for an old friend on this site; I have posted on this website twice about how I was looking for my friend Nancy-a quilter who I met 30 years ago, I did see her 26 years ago briefly, but this morning I went on line before I went to work, and there were two private messages from someone, I opened them, and I nearly fell off my chair!! There she was! I sent her my phone# and tonight we chatted for 1 1/2 hours. I told her I would post that we have connected. We shared wonderful stories about our parents, children, pets, RV, ham radios all the things I remember about her and her husband. It was such a wonderful feeling-I felt so good to hear from her. Thank you Quilting Board!! With you we never would have connected. It was meant to be. You guys are terrific. We have vowed to never loose track of each other again.

that is so cool congs. I know what it is like to lose track of a friend. had a friend all though school she moved away and it like she fall off the face of the world. CONGS again.
