Glad you found your quilt top! Sometimes when I am looking for something I just stop for a while and go back later to look for it and it was right in plain sight.

To all the nice ladies requesting a pattern, I sent the last of them out today only to discover there may be a mistake on the block size. The block unfinished is 13 1/2" and the sashing unfinished cut is 13 1/2" long.

The pattern may say 10 1/2" unfinished for the block and the sashing. Please correct So sorry!!!!! Lois

On my Quilter Lois, a small correction is quite alright by me to get to your pattern! I can't wait! Thank you so much!

Lost and found, that is a wonderful thing!

Thanks for the nice words. When I designed my sewing area I decided that I wanted to be able to not leave my chair cause my feet don't like it. So, I now have my machine, then turn right around to my cutting, drawing, etc area, then around once again to my iron. It is very handy.
My machine is on a 40" square piece of Formica I got at a local cabinet shop. I went in, asked the owner if he had any extra pieces, told him I had $40 and asked him if he could make me a piece for that. He said yes, I brought it home and put in on top of a $20 Goodwill desk. The size is about perfect as there is room to cut fabric plus room to fan out a quilt when I am quilting one.

Also, on the side where I do my cutting, drawing, etc. I have little stacked drawers full of thread, glue and all the other stuff we need handy. Then some of my things are hanging on pegboard. It is all very handy for me which is what I love.

I can't wait to show my DHU (Darling Hubby Unit) the photos of your stash! He thinks mine is overflowing, and it's miniscule compared to yours! You give me hope. And laughter! I adored the photo of your gorgeous Janome sitting there begging to be used. What a beautiful, well organized (to a quilter's eyes) sewing space. It makes perfect sense to me!

The quilt is awesome! No wonder you've been looking for it, and I can certainly understand how it was lost. I'm losing things, and I'm no where near as organized as you are. My stash is in boxes (organized boxes) but eventually I'll find something where I can see them without having to unload a box.

Am sending all God's blessings to you with this.

Your room is not a mess.
It just shows that you are a quilter, well done.
