No Laura3 this is not the definition of me. I did read every post on this topic. I can read comments or just pass by, doesn't bother me.
carefree, happy and love to quilt.

Glad to hear it!! I also read most that are of special interest to me, but have been known to skim and ask a question that has already been asked.....I like the different opinions of all who are here...It has been a great learning experience for me and definitely never boring!

cur·mudg·eon/kərˈməjən/
Noun: A bad-tempered or surly person

Herein lies one problem:

Kathidahl did not infer others were a "curmudgeon" she said she hated to be one herself and only stated her feelings. People just do not seem to read and understand what others are saying when it is there in black and white. That in itself is frustrating because a poster did not take the time to read what was truly said in the original post.

I just found it humorous that she looked up the word, just trying to lighten the mood....

SORRY guilty as charged - will try and spend a bit more time reading through before I wade in, ha ha

Doesn't bother me but I do think it's odd that so many people don't comprehend what the original post states most of the time.

Well an example on this post. I have read page one and six. Don't have time to read every post on here with every page there is for commments. I have four children and work so I try to get the main post and a little beyond but am not fortunate to read every comment on this board. Way toooo many and it is great to have so many comments and responses on here. The board is wonderful.

I agree entirely - I don't expect ppl to read every word of every thread, when would we sew?  But at least check back before you ask a question to see if it's been answered before, and it often has in the original post. This does annoy me I'm afraid and I DO try to be patient but my Mother always said that when He was giving out patience, I was too impatient to stand in line for it!
