I am so excited......for my birthday/Christmas gift I am getting a Babylock Smphony quilting machine. I just had to post how blessed I am to have such a wonderful man...
I will be getting the machine later this week and can't wait to set it up and use it.

If anyone has this machine, it would be great to hear about what you think of it.......I just can't wait!!!

I have the Babylock Espire, which I think is the predecessor of the Symphony. I've had it 3 1/2 years, and LOVE it. I must admit I haven't yet done any FMQ, but I've pieced, used the walking foot, SID, and used some of the decorative stitches for quilting. You have a very dear husband to get you such a magnificent gift. Give him an extra big hug from all of us.

That is pretty awesome! Don't know anything about the baby lock, but doesn't sound like you can go wrong! What a wonderful husband you have.

I just have the Baby lock Jane, stitches are very good, I've had it since june and made lots of quilts with it. I wanted to use it as much as I could since it was under warranty. I FMQ with it. Works very well, it only straight stitches, all I need. I'm sure yours is much nicer with more stitches. Good for you.

I tried the symphony and liked it a lot. He is a great husband. You are surely blessed!

I have the Brother Lauren Ashley NX 2000 which is the Symphony's twin, since Brother makes Babylock. I have had it for about a year and I love it. It has a lot of different stitches and comes with a lot of different feet. It is a very large machine, and very user friendly. You do have a wonderful man. My husband told me to just pick out the one I wanted, so I, too, am very lucky. Enjoy!

I currently have 2 Babylock machines and love them both. The Ellure & the newer Melody which took the place of the Quilters Choice. I started out with a Crafters Choice as well. Since I have a wonderful dealer near me, it made my choice all that much easier. The Symphony is something I lust for. I also have 3 Brother machines that I enjoy. Too many machines and not enough time. BTW...go to the site Allpeoplequilt.com. Look for the link to machine minute on the home page. They have a bunch of videos about sewing/embroidery and they use a Babylock Symphony in all the videos.

Your DH is wonderful. So is the Symphony. I bought one last weekend --- the Symphony, not the DH --- and am enjoying it immensely. I'll keep my DH, too, since he supported my purchase. LOL.

I have the BL Symphony and I LOVE it. I have had it about a year and it is so easy to use. I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine!

Hello, fellow Wisconsinite. Congrats on the new machine. I was at the Babylock dealer in Darboy just before Thanksgiving drooling over the crown jewel. They told me they were having a fantastic black Friday sale that would last a week or so. Hope you cashed in on that! :)

I have the Crown Jewel Longarm and just recently returned from classes in St Louis on how to operate the machine. It is the smoothest driving machine I have ever used. Don't really know about the smaller machines. Merry Christmas to you and Happy sewing.

I have had the Symphony 7 months and love it. There is a lot you can do on it, so I am still learning lots of new things all the time. Hope you enjoy yours as much as I do.
