I started seriously quilting when I lived in an RV. The parks we were in had rec halls where I could push tables together during the day and sandwich my quilts. I did 2 queen size and a king size this way and quilted them on my machine in the RV.

I never thought of the wall idea. Thanks, I have to try it. Better then trying to get up off the floor.

When I have a really large quilt I tend to use one of 4 "quilt as you go" methods so I can handle it because I don't have any place to lay out either. Makes it much nicer. However, I like all of your ideas and love this forum for all the neat ideas people come up with.

could you sprinkle water and stretch lightly to get it out. I would worry about the wall.

Great idea!! I'd never think about paint melting, but I did wonder how many tacks you had to usr and what about tack holes?? Hey, what ever we can think to use is great! I did a small one on the bed. I used one of those fold up cutting boards( cardboard kind). I could stick T-pins straight down, and used clothes pin type clips to hold it at the board edge. It worked pretty good!

Always remember, lol!
People who mind don't matter, & people who matter don't mind!
Just don't hurt the wall, okay!

I love this board - forget the quilt notions - you all have way more inventive ideas! This board is the best teacher there ever was!
