I bought a couple of new bags to use as my travel quilting kit.
I'm tried of forgetting things and would like to have a travel bag that I use
when I quilt at my LQS. I have attached picture of my bags. As you can
see I have lots of room but don't want to carry the kitchen sink.....

So can you help me out with a check list of items you really need.

OH. Such pretty bags. I never leave home to quilt so I have no idea what to pack. I would leave out something I really need. I just know it.

Thanks that list is just great. I did leave some of those things off the list
I started. So I'm glad I posted here. I bought my bags in Canton, Texas
at First Monday. Don't ask me where that place is huge. But a really
great price 50% off set cost 13.00 for both pieces. I bought a set in a
different color for my quilting buddy. I going to surprise her with it at our
quilting superbowl party today. I out the door now to quilt with about 10 or 12 of my friends at the local LQS. Thanks again for all the help.

I just had a sew day yesterday with some quilty friends and had a blast! Two things I forgot to bring with me: tape measure and square-up ruler. Have fun with your friends!

I like your bags. I am not sure how big they are, but you will be needing a small mat for your rotary cutter

I would take and extension cord so i had enough to plug my machine in. Marge

Cord what a great idea. I will add that to the list

Thanks
