This is my new project, queen size QAYG 12" blocks.

I don't know what color to use as the joiner strips. I think this will be the most important choice for the success of this quilt.

My bedroom walls have a cobalt blue in a batik look.

I will appreciate suggestions!

white

I'd go with white or WOW. Another thought would be light blue. What ever you choose it will 'frame' the blocks.

Oh my gosh, those fabrics are gorgeous!! I agree with something very light. Please post pics when it's finished, I just love the blocks!! :)

Burgundy or a dark rose.

I think it needs a pop color, maybe a little darker blue.
I also like the darkest burgandy in the flowers like Mitches Mom suggested.

would you have enought of the blue polka dot? for some reason, that popped in my head! also, the yellow. your blocks are lovely. what ever you choose will be stunning!

Burgundy or a deep green would be pretty or a WOW to keep it all bright and light :D:D:D

I have no idea, I usually audition the pieces to make my final decision - it's a visual thing for me.

But I love your block colors. Very nice choice.

I'd audition a white or a soft cream color or even a baby pink. White seems a little harsh to me, but cream may not coordinate with the white in the fabrics. A very soft pink would solve both problems. The colors, patterns and placement of those in your block are just beautiful.
