Isn't that a restful quilt? Love it. The "pokey" edge certainly adds to the appearance but understand it might not snuggle well. How about making that into the border for a nice finish and then have a straight edge for the binding? It could be "on point" or as simple as "postage stamp" strips.

That is hilarious! I loved that quilt and it has seen it's share of wear over the years. I agree that I would have to change the edging design all the way around it. I am currently searching through my pastel fabrics - which are pretty limited. Hmm, I may have to go shopping:).

I also have this exact same quilt I bought at a rummage sale. It has no batting, just quilt top and backing. BUT it already had holes in the top for a curtain rod. Ok, don't shame me - I didn't do it!!! The good news is, I've had it up in my bathroom for years (just changing out the liner) and see it displayed every day, makes me happy and love it.

Lovely design. Hope to try it too, some day.

I really like this design! How wide are the sashing strips? Are they the same inside the block as between them?

Love this pattern and the colors used on it. Are you doing the edge the same. That is really awesome.
