I like the lighter one. How about the darker one on the back side of the quilt. Make it reversible.

I agree use both blocks, they look good together.

Both are nice, The second would be more for a baby, but you could do a border from the first for contrast.

My first thought was that the first one looked nicer, however, mixing them together would make a great quilt and even if you use only the first one there is still a lot of contrast. In the end though, it's your quilt, although I've had times too when my brain doesn't want to decide. Can't wait to see the finished quilt.

I like them both about the same. One is more muted, one has more contrast, but I like them the same
