I am not sure you could do this with 4 colors, but I saw one that was different width strips pieced......to a little bigger than the finished size. Then you cut about 1/4 off vertically, flip it and add it back...You can also add in a sashing if you wanted.
It was adorable! And easy. You could also add a small applique to it (like an airplane, ball or flower) to spice it up a bit. |

Kay Wood has a 6-hour quilt pattern. Although it takes me more that six hours to make it. I use it a lot for baby gifts.
