I know I'm a procrastinator! and I did start a quilt for a friends wedding but I don't think she will like it anymore. So I'm back to the drawing board, and looking for some ideas. The wedding is in less then 3 weeks. Anyone have a quick pattern that I can whip up? I was looking online, really like the Delectable Inspirations from AllpeopleQuilt.com & an Irish chain but anything quick that you can think of would help me out! thanks!

Try a disappearing nine patch! They look harder than they really are. . . . .

Google-Wickedly Easy Quilts. They take a few fat quarters and no time at all. Good luck and please show us pictures. :)

I'm thinking X marks the spot because the X's look like hugs. You could also look at Bonnie Hunter's site www.quiltville. She has looks of fast quilts and easy too. Warm Wishes is a nice pattern especially if you have a great focus fabric for the main squares. Nice examples in the Picture Gallery here.

Here's a link to a version of the D9P I made, so easy and various layouts which make great secondary patterns too!
Here is a picture of the blocks and the link to the tutorial: http://www.quiltingboard.com/t-16190-1.htm |

I think Warm Wishes pattern looks very intricate but it's so simple to make. I made a fast quilt using 10" blocks with that pattern. Here is the free pattern:
