DD was learning in 3rd grade what I learned in high school. But luckily I loved math so quilting and the math that goes with it comes fairly easy for me. It helps when trying to figure out patterns from tiny pictures.

I love math but my kids, not so much. I keep reminding them they'll always need it. My husband is a farmer and he uses math more than he ever thought he would. He's not a big fan of it either though.

I hate math, and I can't balance a checkbook (LOL) but I can figure out quilt blocks and sizes without a problem. Go figure

I have been through many college level math classes, and did very well (Dean's list), but I can't figure out how much yardage I will need for a quilt to save my life! How embarrassing!

Quilt math is hard for me. Let's face it...all math is just not my thing!

I did just fine while in school( I'm 71 now), but recently I was unable to figure out a 3rd grade math word problem. And those were always my strong point! I told her dad, thank goodness he was the one who had to help with homework now!
