OMGosh!!! You did strike gold, and the mine! So happy for you, love the fabrics. I never find anything but junk at the local Goodwill shop. Guess the secret is to keep going until you hit the mine!

That is a lot of fabric! Our Goodwill sells fabric bundles for .69 each. I got 12.5 yards quilting quality last week for $2.07 (3) bundles. Yay!

What area do you usually find the fabric in? I went to 3 Goodwills and 2 Salvation Army yesterday and didn't see any fabric at all.

I almost never find any fabric except for a few pieces hanging on hangers so they can charge way too much.

Lucky you! After hearing about Goodwill, I search for one nearby and went there with high hopes. No luck. They had no fabric at all. I did find a pillow case made of fabric I liked and bought that - a little high at $1.99 but for a good cause. The girl at the shop told us about a fabric place down the road which we visited just before they closed. Great prices. Cottons at $4/yd.
