I found the pattern. http://www.primitivegatherings.us/sh...productId=4319

Connecting Threads still has a lot of fabric 50% off. You could probably find colors for the pattern.

i'm a die-hard contrarian.

i wouldn't be willing to spend that much money on something hundreds of others will have on their beds, too.

i'd buy the pattern; use my own fabric selections; and then fiddle with the design just enough to make it uniquely mine. (while giving ALL due credit to the original designer, of course.)

Why don't you get the pattern and build up your own stash?

Hi, I found the pattern for $12 and only $1.5 shipping at the site below. I ordered the pattern. My daughter and I will each work on one as a mother/daughter projects.

It's cute. I love halloween.

Try to make your own. It doesn't appeal to me.

I'm not too into "Halloween" decorations...as a kid I LOVED trick or treating but the whole skull and cross bones, witches and ghosts kinda don't do much for me. That's just me. The quilt is really lovely and I like the colors.

Okay, that brings up a question. If you find a kit like that, can't afford the kit, can't find the pattern, would it be violating copyright to copy it by making the pattern yourself?

ABSOLUTELY! With the exception of buying the pattern, you're describing what I do. I get ideas from patterns in magazines and books, but often 'borrow' pictures from catalogs or on-line and venture bravely on from there.
