Some think buying specialty rulers a waste of money but I love them. They do the job and do it with a lot less hassle of having to do a lot of math. Thanks for posting about the ruler. Your quilt is adorable.

Like some of the others, I would like to know about the ruler and how your made the braid. The quilt is precious. You did a fine job on it.

The ruler is from CREATIVE GRIDS and its the TRAPEZOID!!!! They run about $25:eek:, but I took the class and had to buy it and I actually really like it. Normally, I wouldn't have spent that kind of money on one ruler that does 1 or 2 things.

What are the size of the squares? I am trying to find a quilt pattern to use with soft and cuddly fabric that uses a larger square. The quilt is really nice.

The finished squares are 12". (12.5)

2 6" (6.5) squares and 3 4" (4.5) inch rectangles
