Thanks everyone for the info on the pattern - I will be sure to check them all out. Just what I need another project - oh well, that's what quilting is all about.
that is going to be sew beautiful!!!!
you can do it, I am doing one too. The colours in your kit will make a beautiful french braid, I m doing mine in reds, stuck on cutting off the triangles, have to work up nerve to take the rotary cutter to them. Pattern is fairly easy to do. Go for it ! If I can do it so can you.

congrats. go for it you should be able to come up with something really neat. have fun.roz
Oh, its beautiful! Congrats!
sorry Jetnica but I disagree with your enthusiasm to begin while still excited, even if still a simple straighforward log cabin type pattern - approach that gorgeous fabric with rotary cutter carefully, rather like passing one's driving test, wait until next day when excitement has worn off and then get up and go for it naturally. I'm green with envy, of course
Glenn, I love your Dresden Plate quilt pic, unusual not to be done with pastels   :)
Congrats to YOU! Everyone needs to have a special thing happen now and then! Don't wait too long to use that gorgeous fabric!

Congrad You go Girl. I just got 6 pkgs from a quilt shop in NJ doing a friendship called Kindred Quilts triangels kinda swap i got 6 pakgs so i have to sew 144 units. then send them back and to get 114 units back. so i will put it to some use later, they sent the paper tpattern you pin and then sew it all and do the cutting they finish to 2x2 inch size. A fun way to get a wide range of different square. to make something, As I am doing quilts for kids and will keep it up all sunmmer long .

I was able to buy something at the auction (I basically "won" it). I got down to almost spending all the birthday bucks I had when I said... "I want that kit ...don't make me beg for birthday bucks". And here's the kit I got :D I LOVE THE MAtERIAL!!!! I am new to quilting AND new to this site! The French braid is one have haven't seen yet. You have to show us when you are finished! I am so wxcited for you!!!1 I'm so excited.
