Ideal seam guide is great

I know its a little pricy but this little gadget is well worth it. I get perfectly straight seams all the time. Love it

Looks interesting, but I have a top loading bobbin, do you have to remove it every time you need to change the bobbin?

I don't see a picture.

Yes you do, but it just lifts off easily. I have the long one (not shown in the video) which has a cutout so the guide does not interfere with the feed dogs.

It looks great but I don't like the price...I do the same thing with a credit card held down by blue tape or moleskin...you can use an index card to measure...the lines are 1/4" apart exactly so can just punch holes at appropriate spot and put under needle...Bonnie Hunter sells a plastic small piece that has the hole measurements for around $5...I would love this if their price was more reasonable...$50 is too much for me

Very pricey. I had something similar and because I have a top loading bobbin after a while the stickiness of the back wore off

It looks like a great way to get a better 1/4" seam at any ways I've tried.
But does that stickiness not hurt the machine base?
How often can you restick and unstick before it no longer usable?

I use a pile of painters tape. Gave one to each of my 4H girls too. I do like that it's longer than most seam guides. I feel that helps in the straight seams.
