I have the baby quilt done

I used the idea disappearing nine patch pattern with flannel fat quarters . My sister put the colors and the design for it so it was a team effort. It will be delivered today.

My daughter was picky about the first baby's colors and theme. The second baby not so much. LOL. One thing I learned about baby quilts, if not for daughters: If the mother doesn't like the colors or theme it will never be used.
I like to donate baby quilts. They are always appreciated. I use the 3 yard quilt pattern. Perfect size for baby and older kids too.

I've made several baby quilts and afghans. Sometimes I wonder how much they're used or appreciated. I guess I just have to focus on my own satisfaction of making them, rather than the appreciation of my work.
