I love the Quilt as you Sew baby blanket. When you get done sewing the strips to the batting and backing the quilt is done. All you need to do is bind it.

Thank you so much.

I made this one in 2 days. done in flannels

alternating 4 patch and squares.

cut 6.5 inch squares for the 4 patch
6.5 squares for the other.

measures 30 x 30 without borders

cut 2 inch for the first border
cut 4 inch for the last border

Love this quilt! You said that for the 4 patch you cut 6.5 inch squares and the same size for the squares. Do you then quarter the squares for the 4 patch?

i am bad..not the right measurements for the 4-patch
if finishes at 6.5 to match the squares.

the 4 patch squares are 3.5

Thanks a bunch!!! Can't wait to make it!

How big a quilt do you end up with using a jelly roll and the missouri star quilt tutorial?

or use the tube pinwheel method on Missouri Star Quilt Company - I've made several baby quilts doing this and it takes no time at all!

Congratulations on your weight loss. I always said all my problem weight is between my neck and my knees. lol

Actually I bought a couple of flannel receiving blankets that coordinated, cut them into 5" sq. and make a disappearing
nine patch, it turned out so cut. Very soft, used pearl cotton
and did a large quilt stitch about 1/4" in a grid format. It is
adorable.
