I am doing a Zentangle quilt. I will post a pic when it is completed. I am trying to think of a small musical phrase to impose on the border of this quilt. I used red as border and have some musical fabric left that I must use. I need a phrase that is rather short but meaningful. ha I do appreciate the help you guys have supplied me. And I love doing Zentangle and will be doing another one.

I'm not sure about a pattern for such varied amounts of the black and white, but if you have not yet chosen your other fabric, I would be tempted to put a deep rich crimson with it.

Sounds like great fun...when you decide what you're going to do.

FUN! Fun! Fun! That musical fabric should not be cut. I love it. Please post your finished quilt.

go to gourmetquilter and check out her ideas for 1 or 2 or 3 fat quarter quilts...she has freebie patterns for these on her website as well...I love black and white and my choice would be a teal/aqua to make them pop!!! Good Luck!

Here's my almost finished project for this one yard challenge using only b/w fabrics. The piece on the top right is not going to stay on the border. I used the remainder of the b/w fabrics (only pieces) in the binding so I completed the challenge without goofs. Here is my zentangle. I should say the rules said you could add one piece of fabric any amount and I added the red. Thank you so much for your great ideas.

Great use of the pieces of fabrics. Love the idea, I passed it on to my Bee. Hopefully this one is coming my way soon.

Wow! What a great looking quilt. I love how well the centre turned out and that you can actually see all the different fabrics. You certainly rose to that challenge.
